Renuka Khatiwada: I am Renuka Khatiwada, researcher in the field Visual Cultural Studies. My areas of research at present are Community of women in the Street, Festival and gender roles. I am a Director and Director of Photography for two documentaries, Art and the City, and Anger and the Mahatma.  I have an archive of thousands of photographs on Hindu and Buddhist festivals, religious sites, goddess series, and women in various moods and spaces.  Members of SAFAR are working on visual research projects on selected photographs. I have also contributed as a photographer for a forthcoming illustrated book Seasons of the Divine (Ed. Arun Gupto).
